Mindfulness in Nature Grades 6-8 Wellness Sessions

Nature Based and Social Emotional Learning enrichment. Students will connect to themselves, each other, and their natural world! In these sessions students will gain tools to build resilience in the areas of self-confidence, body awareness, self-regulation, self-control, regulate nervous system & reduce stress and anxiety.

 

Students will leave feeling a stronger sense of self-confidence, compassion for themselves and others, and with tools used to help regulate their emotions.

 

Nature and Mindfulness activities include:

  • Breathing Exercises

  • Guided Meditations

  • Journaling

  • Yoga

  • Nature Activities

  • Nature Walks 

  • Community connection
